Charlie Dickson received his B.A. from Seattle University and his J.D., magna cum laude, from University of California Hastings College of the Law. While in law school he completed an externship for the Honorable Judge Charles R. Breyer, in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. Charlie also clerked for the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office, as well as the Marin County Public Defender’s Office.
Charlie also acted as a senior editor for the Hastings Law Journal. As part of his membership in the Hastings Law Journal, he wrote a research paper on modern drug policy, and presented that paper at the Western Society of Criminology’s annual 2017 conference.
Since joining Nolan Barton & Olmos, LLP in the Fall of 2017, Charlie has taken on multiple misdemeanor DUI matters, including those involving individuals with immigration-related concerns. Charlie has also worked on post-conviction relief matters including expungements, and has successfully utilized the newly-enacted Penal Code section 851.91, which allows individuals to seal certain records relating to their arrests.
Charlie is passionate about his clients and embraces the opportunity to zealously advocate for his clients, whatever their charges might be.
