Serenity Wang received her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, her M.S. in Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania, and her J.D., magna cum laude, from Temple University Beasley School of Law. While in law school, she completed a year-long externship with Chief Judge Theodore McKee of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
After law school, Serenity worked at Berger & Montague, P.C., a civil litigation firm in Philadelphia. She returned to the Bay Area in late 2013 and practiced patent prosecution at Carr & Ferrell, LLP, a technology firm in Silicon Valley, prior to joining NBO in 2016.
Serenity speaks conversational Mandarin. She is a member of CACJ and CPDA, and she has been admitted to practice in California, Pennsylvania, and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
In her free time, Serenity writes dystopian science fiction with a legal bent and volunteers for the California Innocence Project.
